I offer expertise for wood-working projects worldwide, advice and consultancy for Architects and Designers.
Experience in traditional boat-building and in the construction industry allow me to offer advice and expertise on all forms of wooden structures, alternative methods of construction including an experience of a wide range of wood-based products, species & boards and their relative advantages for any given project.
I can also design complex jointing systems for specific purposes, structural, aesthetically pleasing, or unusual. This will add a unique dimension to your project, an element that cannot necessarily be replicated on CAD modelling.
I have experience in lamination procedure for structural components, particularly curved pieces. Advice and expertise in this area or scale models build to order allow the architect and designer to explore possibilities with the client that open up unique and ground-breaking solutions.
